Tulips galore

Today I saw the tulips in my front yard had bloomed. They were red, yellow, and purple. The purple were not totally bloomed. They were about a foot tall from the leaves to the tip of the flower. They were
closed and had a
teardrop shape. The leaves were about 7 or 7 and a half inches long and bright green.

Some of the tulips were streaked with red and orangy yellow and others were bright scarlet. The purple ones were a deep purple (the camera changed it a bit.) I also saw that some more apricot colored tulips had bloomed. Earlier they were yellow, but the new ones are more orange. Aren't they lovely :)
I also noticed that our white azalea bush is growing little flowers.

It's been raining a lot recently. Oh, well, you know what they say about April rain...

This was all observed about 6:30 pm on April 28 in my front and back yards.
